- Manage the recruitment of engineering employees – setting direction for your team and working directly with your Director/VP level stakeholders
- Train and develop your team by ensuring each is on a career path and receives regular feedback and growth assignments
- Partner with leadership and our talent acquisition guilds (centers of excellence) to drive best-in-class recruitment practices
- Partner with our Manager, Employment brand to ensure our employment brand is communicated effectively through channels like job postings, social and in-person events
- Participate in the creation of programs to creatively source candidates for positions, using a variety of recruitment channels such as employee referrals, direct sourcing, and applications
- Act as a brand ambassador for BenchSci; educate candidates on our culture, career growth, benefits, and many advantages of working for BenchSci and ensure best-in-class candidate experience
- Conduct compensation conversations with both HR Business Partner and hiring managers to ensure internal and external equity
- Prepare and extend candidate offer letters, serving as the primary point of contact for additional communications, scheduling, and negotiations
- Integrate processes that continue to embrace a highly diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace
- Track and report on recruiting metrics to determine efficiencies and areas for improvement – provide updates to senior management
Job specification:
- 6-10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on recruiting engineering roles
- 3+ year’s experience leading, coaching and growing a team; experience leading team leads is desired
- Startup experience – you know what it takes to build a team and love getting your hands dirty
- Strong and extensive knowledge of modern talent acquisition best practices
- Demonstrate ability to develop, implement and meet strategic objectives for TA and the organization
- Experience in advising senior management in a strategic capacity while providing effective coaching on all talent acquisition
