What you’ll do

  • Prep, cook, and plate high-quality dishes for weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events.
  • Follow event briefs and Goose + Berry standards to deliver consistent taste, timing, and presentation.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, temperature control, and allergen management across sites.
  • Set up and manage pop-up or venue kitchens, including equipment checks, cleanliness, and stock control.
  • Work closely with Front of House, Event Managers, and the Head Chef to keep service smooth and on schedule.
  • Represent Goose + Berry professionally with clients, venues, and vendors.

Requirements and eligibility

  • Proven chef experience in events, catering, or restaurant kitchens.
  • Confidence with high-volume prep, service timing, and plating under pressure.
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards and allergen management; ability to follow HACCP and site procedures.
  • Excellent organisation and teamwork; clear communication with BOH and FOH.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and peak-season shifts.
  • Positive, reliable, and guest-focused attitude.
  • Right to work in the UK is required.
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
